Julien Redmond is the founder of IRiS and Ignition Data, with more than 15 years of experience in Data Vault and enterprise data management. He has worked with organisations across industries to design, implement and scale data architectures that prioritise flexibility, governance, auditability and long-term adaptability.
Today, Julien focuses on the evolving role of Data Vault within modern data platforms and Lakehouse architectures, and on how a strong, well-structured data foundation can support the growing demands of AI. His work explores the practical challenges of making enterprise data trusted, integrated and ready to support analytics, automation and AI.
Julien is a regular contributor to the Data Vault community, sharing practical experience and insights from real-world implementations, Data Vault education and the development of IRiS, a Data Vault automation platform.
